The thesis is devoted to the topical problem of formation of senior students' preparedness to the profession choice in the sphere of economics and enterprise under conditions of professional-oriented education. The state of the problem under research in pedagogical theory and practice is analyzed; the contents of the preparedness is specified, its structure, criteria, indices and levels are defined. A model of formation of senior students' preparedness to the profession choice in the sphere of economics and enterprise under conditions of profile education is developed. The efficiency of the developed contents, forms and methods of such formation is experimentally tested.
