3. The object of study: the osmotic resistance of red blood cells, the transformation of red blood cells, red blood cell morphology. Research goal: research of influence of ophthalmic antiglaucoma drugs, as well as the stabilizing component of these drugs - benzalkonium chloride (BzA) on the osmotic stability and dynamics of changes in the shape of human erythrocytes in the electrolyte and non-electrolyte environments. Methods: spectrophotometry using shapemeter-agregometer SA-01, dynamic pH measurements, light microscopy, statistical analysis. Theoretical and practical results novelty: Found that formulations stabilized erythrocyte membranes and inhibit their osmotic hemolysis in a hypotonic medium containing the indicated drugs. Measured partition coefficients of drugs between erythrocytes and saline with a value of 1000 and not much different for different drugs. It is shown that the plasma component formotransformiruyuschemu inhibit the action of drugs and discoid shape can restore cells after treatment with drugs, depending on the type of preparation and type of plasma component. Found that all the preparations should be regarded as mixtures of the individual. Field of application results of the work: The results obtained in this work are both theoretical and practical significance, because describe the effect of ophthalmic drugs known to osmotic stability and change in the shape of red blood cells.
