Object: a theoretical and practical teaching activities of A .S. Makarenko; aim: to identify and summarize the theoretical and practical A. S. Makarenko’s experience on the content, means of formation, ways of implementation of the pedagogical optimism of the teacher, to reveal the possibilities of its usage in the modern theory and practice of education; methods: the comparative historical analysis, compilation and systematization of the literal A. S. Makarenko’s heritage; novelty: for the first time carried out a holistic analysis of A. S. Makarenko’s an interdisciplinary scientific approach to the unity of philosophical, pedagogical, psychological aspects as the conceptual basis for the formation of the personality of the teacher, identified the socio-historical conditions of the derivation and development of the ideas of pedagogical optimism of the teacher and the results: in the scientific usage introduced a little known archival materials on A. S. Makarenko’s experience on the formation of an optimistic outlook of the teacher; branch: 13.00.01  General Pedagogy and the history of pedagogy
