Dissertation exposes actual problem of formation of self-control at adolescents in scout associations. Having analyzed the psychological and educational literature, this work shows the state of problem of self-control formation at adolescents in national and foreign psychological and pedagogical sciences. This work highlights notion of self-control. Components, rates and levels of self-control formation at adolescents are defined. The work reveals educational opportunities of scout associations in the process of self-control formation at adolescents. Organizational and pedagogical terms of forming self-control of adolescents at scout associations are grounded in the work: preparation of scout leaders for work with senior teenagers (psychological pedagogical preparation of scout leaders, the creation of positive motivation in educational environment of the scout associations for self-control of adolescents, preparing for trainings); optimization of educational process (combination of scout methods with methods of forming self-control, assistance to effective communication, emotional and comfortable atmosphere in the senior teenager group, creative realization of senior adolescents).The effectiveness of such conditions is found experimentally.
