Dissertation is devoted to the research of pharmacotherapeutic efficiency of coordinative compound of germanium (MIGU-5) in experimental syndrome of endogenous intoxication. In screening researches it was proven, that the greatest activity is shown by germanium compound with nicotinamide and oxyethylidendiphosphonic acid - MIGU-5. It was found that MIGU-5 in single intraperitoneal administration belongs to the toxicity class V. It was proven an ability of MIGU-5 to resist the formation of syndrome of endogenous intoxication, according to the levels of it biochemical markers. The compound lowers level of middle-molecular weight proteins and concentration of TBA-products, that clearly indicates that MIGU-5 has membrane protective activity under conditions of hyperactivation of lipid peroxidation processes in case of peritonitis. Pharmacotherapeutic efficiency of MIGU-5 is realized in maintenance of prooxidant-antioxidant balance, correction of energy and carbohydrate homeostasis disturbances and decline of levels of endotoxicosis markers, that substantially increases indexes of survivability of the animals. It is also important an ability of MIGU-5 to stabilize the homoeostasis of organism by maintenance of acid-base balance. In basis of above-mentioned properties of investigated compound, lay it membrane stabilizing properties and expressed antioxidant activity with antiradical action.
