Essay

The thesis is devoted to research of the organizational and pedagogical bases of the adult education in Ukraine in the 20-50s of the XX century. The adult education problem in educational theory and practice is theoretically analyzed; the content of basic concepts of the research is considered; the division into three stages of the adult education development in Ukraine in the indicated period is grounded. The main stages of the adult education development are defined on the base of socio-economic, socio-cultural, political and historical factors influencing the development of content and forms of organization of the adult education in Ukraine in the 20-50s of the XX century.
