Dissertation is devoted to the study of history of Kyiv photos independence period. History of art photographs highlighted as an integral phenomenon of modern Ukrainian culture, which is part of the general trends in art period of independence. In this paper highlights in detail previously unexplored historical events that influenced the development of Kyiv photos that period and analyzed as works of famous artists and the younger generation of photographers. In the studies established a holistic picture of the evolution of Kiev photos last two decades. Analysis of major trends found their features.
