Essay

Dissertation is devoted to research of treatment-and-prophylactic efficiency of bioflavonoidcontaining drug corvitinum on crush-syndrome model. Pharmacotherapeutic efficiency of corvitinum realizes in its ability to support protective-compensatory mechanisms, directed on diminishing of hyperproduction of endo¬genous toxins degree, also in discontinuation of free-radical chain reactions, correction of imbalance in energy metabolism, prevention of oxidation and phosphorylation processes uncoupling and maintenance of the detoxicative system functioning in conditions of crush-syndrome. Moreover, corvitinum corrects the level of high-specific marker of rhabdomyolisis – myoglobin – and compensates metabolic acidosis which develops in this case, by normalization of the oxygen mode and maintenance of the main buffer systems of blood plasma.
