Essay

The thesis examines the psychological conditions for prevention of staff turnover in commercial organizations. The work includes the theoretical basis, methodology and findings of the empirical research of the problem in question. The study reveals the contents of staff turnover and its role in ensuring high organizations' and staff's performance. The investigation found high levels of staff turnover and the basic types of staff turnover in commercial organizations. The author analyzed the effects of mezzo-level factors (level of organizational development, the characteristics of the organizational culture and socio-psychological climate in the organization) and micro-level factors (level of significance of staff's basic needs, staff's work satisfaction, length of work in the organization, and their marital status) on staff turnover in commercial organizations. The author defined psychological conditions for prevention of staff turnover in commercial organizations as well as designed a training course 'Psychological Conditions For Prevention of Staff Turnover In Commercial Organizations.'
