Object of research: infertility, reproducible resolution and retaining of placenta in cows. The purpose of research - study the spread of forms and causes of infertility and the results of blood tests, fetal and maternal parts of the placenta and pathogenesis of fetoplatsentat justify the treatment and prevention of symptomatic infertility cows against the detention of the litter. Methods: clinical, morphological, hematological, biochemical, obstetric, gynecological, histological, zootechnical and statistics. Scientific novelty: The thesis deals with the investigation into the pathomorphological changes in genitalia, as well as with the substantiation, approbation and introduction of pathogenetic prophylaxis of the revealed forms of infertility in cows. It is for the first time that the statistical analysis of cattle reproduction is presented in the following sequence: region-farm. The author investigates infertile cows, the main indices of their status, reveals the main reasons of infertility, substantiates pathogenesis and the use of preperations for the disease treatment and prophylaxis. The author also suggests and tests the means of stimulating the reproductive function of cows with the use of fetoplacentat preparation obtained from the entire contents of uterus tissues taken from clinically healthy cows of 1-5 mоnths' pregnancy (uterus; vascular, allantoic and amniotic sacs; allantoic and amniotic fluid; fetal and maternal parts of placenta; umbilical cord and fetus). Within the period of three years the changes of the main indices of their status under the effects of fetoplacentatis and prostoglandin's synthetic analogue - estrophan were investigated. It has been proved that the three-year-long application of fetoplacentatis in infertile cows did not negatively affect the reproductive function of cows, but the application of estrophan was accompanied by the appearance of lutein and follicular cysts, subclinical chronic endometritis, uterus atony and hypotension, hypofunction of ovaries and persistent corpus luteum. Sphere (industry) use: veterinary medicine.
