The thesis examined organizational culture of the institution of higher education as a factor in the formation of students' professional identity. The work includes the theoretical basis, methodology and findings of the empirical research of the problem in question. The investigation revealed the essence of organizational culture of the institution of higher education and students' professional identity. The author found the effects of organizational culture of the institution of higher education on the development of students' professional identity in relation to some factors (type of ownership of the institution of higher education, years of studies, and students' perceptions of the dominant type of organizational culture). The author determined psychological conditions for the optimization of the effects of organizational culture of institutions of higher education on the development of students' professional identity (systematization of students' ideas about the content, basic types, and psychological characteristics of organizational culture and their professional identity; development of students' conscious attitudes towards organizational culture of the institution of higher education and their own professional identity type and status; students' analysis of the dominant type of organizational culture and its relationship with their own professional identity; and the development of students' conscious attitudes towards organizational culture as a factor in the formation of students' professional identity). The author developed a training course 'Effects of Organizational Culture Of Institutions of Higher Education On The Development of Students' Professional Identity.
