Essay

Object: system of state price regulation in the Ukrainian petroleum market. The aim of the study is to develop a conceptual positions and practical recommendations for improving state policy in aspects of regulating the petroleum product market based on complex economic and mathematical forecasting models and modeling of state regulation of this market. Methods: system analysis, statistics, modeling of dynamic time series with nonstationary variables, game theory, multi-agent approach. Results: Complex of mathematical economic models of regulation of the Ukrainian petroleum market, built on the principles of agent-based approach based on multi-cointegrating relationships between the basic price series in this market, which is formalized on the basis of trends in key factors: the price fixing agreements between participants and individual player's regulation strategy. Implementation: results used in the enterprises engaged in the analysis of the overall economy and of petroleum markets. Application: Ukrainian petroleum market.
