Object of research - worsening of boars' reproductive function. The goal of the research - studiy of the depends of sperm quality of the antioxidant system condition. Research methods: laboratory and microscopic evaluation of sperm quality of boars, biochemical, biophisiical, histologycal, statistical. Scientific novelty: there was established that the degree of sperm quality worsening and declining of impregnating ability depends on the content of thiobarbituric acid reactive substances and the activity of superoxide dismutase and catalase in the blood's serum and sperm's plasma. There were found that increased content of lipid peroxidation end-products and decreased activity of enzymes of the antioxidant system were accompanied by a decrease in testosterone and progesterone levels, increased content estradiol in blood's serum and decreased concentrations of fructose in sperm's plasma. Characteristic changes of the sperm's plasma crystallization occurs depending on different degrees of sperm quality reduction and levels of testosterone and fructose. The quality of sperm depends on the structural organization of the gonads. The correction of boars' reproductive function with the usage of E-selen was substantiated. Introduction: results of scientific researches are used in educational process in teaching the course of "Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Animal Reproduction Biotechnology with the basics of Andrology" and scientific work on the faculties of higher educational institutionals III-IV levels of accreditation. Scientific-methodical recommendations which are confirmed SMC of the State veterinary and phitosanitary service of Ukraine are developed. Fild (area) of use: veterinary medicine.
