Matviishyn T. Prophylaxis of calves diseases by means of keeping correction and using immunomodulators

Object of research: hygienic keeping conditions, cows feeding and calves growing, state of natural and specific immunity. The aim of research: to find out the modern keeping conditions of cows as well as their feeding, which give birth the calves with different levels of antenatal development with no identical body immunological resistance and determine the place of preventive therapy for adequate correction of production technologies of animal products. Research methods: hygienic, zootechnical, immunological, biochemical and statistic. Scientific novelty: the first time complex researches were conducted. They include: hygienic keeping conditions, level of feeding, veterinary and sanitary monitoring of the diseases in the experimental farm, feeding conditions of cows of different ages, which given birth of calves with different antenatal development. It has been developed the measures of preventive therapy in the farm to increase functional state of health as well as natural and specific immunity in to increase functional state of health as well as natural and specific immunity in calves. It has been determined the increasing activity of cellular and decreasing of hummoral immunity in the calves bodies independently on the level of their antenatal development. Stimulative influence of E vitamin and levamizol on the process of nonspecific resistance, activity of post vaccinated immunity and calves growth energy have been shown. Extent of introduction: "Methodical recommendations of using E vitamin and levamizol for immune simulation of hypotrophic calves" have been suggested for practical use. The scientific novelty of the conducted researches is defended by the declarative patent of Ukraine "Method of effectiveness increasing of specific immune prophylaxis in calves".
