Object - linguistic means of image creating in the fiction by F.M. Dostoevsky; the aim is to determine linguistic means of invariant image child-victim and child-adult representation in the fiction by F.M. Dostoevsky; methods that are used: method of speech behaviour study, method of communicative behaviour study, method of subjective perspective sentence description, descriptive and stylistic method, method of comparison; novelty - for the first time the compositional and stylistic devices and linguistic means of invariant child image creation with regard to the type of the invariant have been singled out; variants of invariant images child-victim and child-adult have been defined; compositional and communicative organization principles of invariant child-adult image have been determined; compositional and stylistic organization ways and devices of invariant child-victim image have been established; results - the actual material, the main points and conclusions of the thesis can be used in the course of stylistic, fiction linguistic analysis, special course on individual style study.
