Essay

Object - the formation of the concept of national identity in the late twentieth teacher - early twenty-first century. The goal is the scientific study of the concept of a teacher in the light of European integration of higher pedagogical education in Ukraine. Methods: the scientific and historical, and logical analysis of the problem of philosophical, historical, educational, psychological literature and legislation, research papers domestic and foreign scholars, the method of the main array, retrospective analysis, classification, classification, summarization, comparison of theoretical foundations for the study of the formation and development concept of national identity of the teacher. Synthesis, mapping and interpretation of sources prognostic method, summarizing data. Novelty: first the integral analysis of the problem of a teacher in the history of educational thought, the essence, the content and structure of the concept of a teacher, the principal components of which are: goal, objectives, objects, principles and factors that influenced the creation of this phenomenon, developed periods of formation and development of the concept of a teacher in the domestic pedagogy late XX - early XXI century (first phase - transition (1984-1990 years) and the second stage - the reformist (1991 - beginning of XXI century)) and proved its criteria, and are characterized research associations ( scientific schools) and Local authorities as key cells forming the concept of a teacher in certain chronological framework and outline promising directions of its development. Results: theoretical achievements of the thesis can be used in the process of developing and teaching courses and History of Education, regulatory and elective courses and special seminars in higher educational institutions; writing textbooks, manuals, guidelines of the theory and history of pedagogy for a wide range of scientists, teachers. The main provisions of the dissertation research and findings can be taken into account in the further development of the scientific problems of the history of education and teaching science in Ukraine.
