The thesis investigates the problem of patriotic education of future Geography teachers in the process of search touristic and regional studies activity. The actuality of the topic is proved and the state of its development is analyzed. The essence of the concept "patriotic education" of the future Geography teachers as a relevant educational issues, the interpretation of the terms "patriot", "patriotic" from the point of geographical regional studies and geography teacher training in today's educational environment are specified. Pedagogical conditions of patriotic education of future Geography teachers in the process of search touristic and regional studies activity are determined, theoretically proved and tested. The model of patriotic education of future Geography teachers in the process of search touristic and regional studies activity, including the content, forms, approaches, principles and methods of the students of Geographical specialties' patriotic education by the means of touristic and regional studies activity is elaborated. Criteria, indicators and levels of future Geography teachers' patriotic education are characterized, theoretically proved and tested.
