Object - development of preschool-age children in games. Purpose - to ground theoretically and approve experimentally the pedagogical factors of developing preschool-age children self-dependence in games. Methods - theoretical, empirical, statistic. Theoretical results and novelty - the essence and the structure of the notion "preschool-age children self-dependence in games" have been analyzed; the structural components of self-dependence have been defined; the experimental model of developing preschool-age children self-dependence in games has been elaborated; the pedagogical factors of developing preschool-age children self-dependence in games (present system of children's knowledge about objective and social environment, pedagogical support of children's self-dependence in games, organization of object-developing game atmosphere, children's immersion into active self-ruling game activity have been defined; the criteria (personal, active) and evaluative indicators of self-dependence in games (activity while role-playing, self-dependence in defining game intention, responsibility for keeping to game rules, game meaning and content awareness, operating activity in game actions, persistence in game result achievement) have been defined; the levels of developing preschool-age children self-dependence (high, sufficient, average, low) have been determined and characterized; the methodology of organizing children's game activity and developing preschool-age children self-dependence have been further developed. Practical results - the methodology of defining the levels of development of self-dependence, the experimental methodology of developing preschool-age children self-dependence in games have been developed and put into practice. Efficiency of introduction is high. Branch - pedagogical, preschool educational establishments, higher educational establishments.
