In the thesis аs a result of the analysis of educational and psychological literature the trends of family upbringing were described and the concepts of family parenting of teenagers in the United Kingdom were analyzed, the role of modern British families in the education of adolescents and the problems of educating of adolescents in problem families were researched, the strategies, the forms and the methods of family education of the British were defined, the comparative analysis of the Ukrainian and British systems of family parenting was made.
