Essay

Thesis is devoted to experimental substantiation of pharmacologic prophylaxis of cerebrovascular disorders occurring on the background of the action of whole body wide-spectrum vibration. The whole body wide-spectrum vibration reduces the volumetric rate of local cerebral blood flow, oppresses reactivity of cerebral vessels, causing hypoxia, which leads to edematous and dystrophic changes in brain tissues with reciprocal glial reaction up to neuronophagia of some fatalities neurocytes. The effect of donepezil and betahistine to the above changes in the system of cerebral circulation and brain tissue was studied against the background of these disorders. The high efficacy of these drugs was experimentally demonstrated in relation to violations with a significant advantage of betahistine, due to a wider range of its activities, in particular, vestibular-protective influence. The studied drugs found a multifactorial vasodilator and cerebroprotective effects, resulting in improved blood circulation, resumption of vascular reactivity and attenuation of hypoxia and edema with reduced glial reaction.
