Essay

In dissertation the degree of scientific research of a problem of Pedagogics as an educational subject at Spiritual Academies (1940s – the beginning of the 21st century) is analysed, its basic directions of scientific study are characterised and pre-conditions (interest of religious confessions for an acquaintance with spiritual education; a necessity of priestly in educational knowledge; underground pastor courses opening; individual studies in monastic associations, underground seminaries and academies; vision of Pedagogics as science about education etc.) are defined. Found that religious scholars Fr. B. Sokalsky, Fr. G. Szymanski, Fr. K. Ruzhitsky, Fr. P. Wlodek, Fr. G. Edlinsky considerable attention was paid to the development of pedagogy as an integrated discipline, develop effective means of addressing the problem of identity formation cleric. They paid much attention to improving the monologue (lecture, sermon), dialogic (seminars, discussions, independent work with the book) and meditation (prayer, contemplation icons, spiritual contacts with pedagogical works) forms of training future specialists. The dynamics of development process is scientifically grounded and its main stages are outlined. Progressive changes in contents of pedagogical education at Spiritual Academies are exposed on the basis of plans and programmes. The basic ways of usage of pedagogical ideas and experience of Spiritual Academies of Ukraine of the period in modern conditions are considered.
