Object: national ethno-pedagogy of the first half of the 20th c. as a distinctive cultural phenomenon of national education; the aim lies in the scientific substantiation of cultural anthropological foundations of national ethno-pedagogy in modern teaching and upbringing process; methods: theoretical; novelty consists in the fact that the complex analysis of the role of ethno-pedagogy as cultural anthropological phenomenon has been performed for the first time; the place and the role of cultural anthropological approach to ethno-pedagogical research and practical transformations in education have been identified; the main concepts of ethno-pedagogical knowledge in the formation of harmoniously developed personality have been improved; the research of traditional and novel paradigms of ethno-pedagogical education has gained further development, theoretico-methodological developments of cultural anthropological content have been completed. the results: the generalized and systematized in the given work statements have been used in the preparation of methodological developments on the history of pedagogy and ethno-pedagogy, the results obtained have been integrated in the process of professional training of specialists in educational institutions and applied during syllabus design, upbringing projects, formation of the content of tutorials and textbooks; the branch: general pedagogy and the history of pedagogy.
