Essay

The dissertation is devoted to experimental and theoretical study of a novel derivative cyclic monocarbamate compound AGB-31, which exhibits antiepileptic activity. The study consists of two parts: investigation of the effect of compound the AGB-31 on mnemic processes and neurochemical mechanisms in individual brain hemispheres and study of the pharmacokinetic profile AGB-31 in the blood and the cerebral hemispheres tissues.Pharmacokinetic parameters established AGB-31 can serve as benchmarks to determine the dosing regimen in developing instructions for medical use of the potential of the drug. Given the presence of an individual profile mechanism of action compound AGB-31 may be effective in treating some forms of drug-resistant epilepsy.
