Object - cognitive and research activity of senior preschool-age children in preschool educational establishments. Purpose - to ground theoretically and approve experimentally the pedagogical factors of senior preschool-age children logical thinking development in preschool educational establishment. Methods - theoretical, empirical, statistic. Theoretical results and novelty - the pedagogical factors of senior preschool-age children logical thinking development (interaction of children's cognitive, speech and game activity content; presence of informational and methodical maintenance of children's logical thinking development; children's immersion into active cognitive and research activity) have been theoretically substantiated; the notion "senior preschool-age children logical thinking" has been defined; the criteria (gnoseological, constructive, speech and thinking, evaluative and reflexive) and the evaluative indicators have been determined; the levels of senior preschool-age children logical thinking development (sufficient, higher than satisfactory, satisfactory, low) have been characterized. The experimental model that embraces information-enriching, reproductive-operating, creative-researching, evaluative-reflexive stages, forms and methods of work as for realization of pedagogical factors of senior preschool-age children logical thinking development has been worked out and its effectiveness has been experimentally verified; the notion "mental operations" has been specified;the theory and practice of cognitive and research activity of senior preschool-age children in preschool educational establishments have been further developed. Practical results - the experimental methodology of senior preschool-age children logical thinking development, the system of games and logical tasks, a study guide "Senior Preschool-age Children Logical Thinking Development" have been worked out. Efficiency of introduction is high. Branch - pedagogical, preschool educational establishments, higher educational establishments.
