The establishing of the notions of the aesthetic sphere in the theoreticfl works of the Ukrainian artists-vanguardists of the first of the 20-th ctntury has been analyzed in the dissertation. Eurythtic potential of the concept "aesthetic discourse" was proved to be the effective instrument of the processof the establishing of the notions and the investigation of the peculiarities of the functioning of the artistic text.
