The dissertation is devoted to the development of theoretical and methodological bases and practical recommendations for the formation and development of personnel potential of the regional banking sector. The paper reveals the essence of personnel potential, its specificity and determinants on the level of the banking sector. The theoretical approaches to the formation and development process of personnel potential of the regional banking sector are advanced. The methodical bases of evaluation the personnel potential of the regional banking sector are generalized. The condition and efficiency of the banking sector's personnel potential in Transcarpathian region are analized.The main tendencies of the formation and development of personnel potential of the banking sector in the Transcarpathian region are researched. Directions for improvement the process of formation and development of regional banking sector's personnel potential are worked out in the thesis. Methodological basis of forecasting the personnel provision of the banking sector in the region is substantiated and the appropriate midterm prognosis for the Transcarpathian region is developed. The stages of implementation in Ukraine the European experience of banking personnel professional development are determined.
