It is established that purulent discharges of pig farms contain residues of veterinary drugs including anthelmintics, antibiotics, sulfonamides and hormonal compounds. The main sources of these drugs in purulent discharges include therapeutic and preventive agents introduced into the pigs organism with the feed and feed additives. The contents of these drugs vary with the different technological groups of pigs, retention period and depends on the animal feeding scheme. Fractionation of purulent discharges of pig farm by settling and aerobic biofermentation of resulting liquid fraction contributes to the redistribution of antibiotics, anthelmintics, sulfonamides between various intermediate and end products of processing and insignificantly affects their transformation during waste treatment. Thesis shows that the effect of nandrolone as one of the components of purulent discharges in laboratory rats is related to its anabolic effect and cumulative ability which is not related to the impact on clinical and hematological indices, metabolic status of the individual organs and body systems. The paper confirms that cumulative ability of nandrolone in the body is closely related to the dose being administered and accumulation of norandrosterone and noretiholanolon in liver, muscles and kidney. Necessity for research of available veterinary drugs in feed and purulent discharges is indicated as follow-up criteria for assessing the safety of pork at the holdings that widely use measures to preserve the livestock and ensure pig health as a part of animal disease prevention system.
