Essay

The thesis deals with the problem of civic education of students with disabilities in higher education institutions of integrated type. In this paper, the essence and structure of the citizenship of students with special needs are described; the development of ideas of citizenship education of students in the teaching theory and practice of civic education of students with special needs is analyzed. The components, criteria and indicators of citizenship of students with special needs status are determined, and levels of civic education of students with disabilities in the integrated environment of higher education institution are found out. Afunctional and predictive model of civic education of students with disabilities in the integrated environment of higher education is developed; reasonably psycho-pedagogical conditions of civic education of students with disabilities in the integrated environment of higher education facility are introduced and their efficiency is tested.
