Object - professional training of paramedical personnel; the aim - to find out the influence of implementation of scientifically substantiated pedagogical conditions of forming paramedical personnel independence in the process of professional training at medical schools on raising the level of its formation ; methods - theoretical, empirical, of quantitative analysis of the results of the pedagogical research; novelty - the research is the first to provide a theoretical substantiation and experimentally test the pedagogical conditions of forming paramedical personnel independence in the process of professional training at medical schools; the definition of the term "independence" as a multifaceted activity-oriented personality formation revealed in one's needs, skills, aptitudes to independently and with initiative set goals, define problems, choose the adequate ways of solving them with insistence that leads to the achievement of positive results and the solution of the problem as well as to the ability to carry out self-assessment is provided; the methods and forms of forming independence of paramedical personnel in the process of professional training at medical schools have undergone further study; results - the experimental testing of theoretically substantiated conditions of forming independence of paramedical personnel in the process of professional training at medical schools proves the efficiency of implementing the results of the research in the teaching process at medical schools to raise the quality of teaching and in the system of professional development of paramedical personnel in order to improve the professional skills of the teaching staff. The theoretical ideas and practical findings of the research and the materials of the teaching course "Professionally Important Values of Paramedical Personnel" developed by the author of the research have been implemented in Kupiansk Mariya Shkarletova medical school and Volchansk medical school and are recommended for the use in class and out of class activities with the students, for writing textbooks, teaching manuals, lectures on professional medical disciplines, for writing course and Master degree papers, in the process of professional development of the medical staff; field - pedagogy.
