Essay

The thesis deals with substantiation of theoretical and methodological principles and development of practical proposals on integration of management styles in the field of public service. The target of research is public relations that appear in the process of public service functioning. The subject of research is integration of management styles as a way of enhancing efficiency in the field of public service. The concept of "integrated management style in the field of public service" has been determined. Besides, conceptual and categorical framework and such notions as "management style", "public administration style", "managerial style", "style of leadership", "personnel management in the field of public service" and a number of other key notions within the public administration science have been specified in the context of system methodology. Interconnection of personnel management methods and styles in the area of public service has been examined and basic requirements of their implementation have been defined. Home and foreign experience of management style generation in the field of government service and possibilities of its implementation in Ukraine at the present stage of its development has been studied. Grounds have been given for basic requirements to integrated management style generation in the sphere of public service. Status and problems in generation of effective management style have been analyzed and major lines of integrated management style formation in the field of public service of Ukraine have been put forward.
