Strogonova T. Modeling the Development of Distance Education in Higher Educational Institutions of Ukraine

In this thesis the concept of modeling distance education in higher educational institutions of Ukraine in terms of expanding their autonomy and competition is worked out. The concept is based on the principles of target-oriented approach: development, social goal setting, coordination purposes on the basis of common interests of the universities and the state. Each of the stages of the concept allows us to estimate the current state, to form a structure of goals, develop programs and optimize economic and informational support of distance education. The model of an "ideal state" as a structure of distance education is suggested. Optimization model for distribution of limited resources on the economic development of distance education is improved through the development of information-logical database design and improvement of the structure of the site.
