Kalashnir N. Formation of Intercultural Communicative Competence In Foreign Students In Higher Medical Educational Institutions of Ukraine

The thesis presents a theoretical generalization of the problem of formation of intercultural communicative competence. A new approach to solving actual scientific task lying in grounding pedagogical conditions of intercultural communicative competence formation in foreign students in higher medical educational institutions of Ukraine has been proposed. Based on the theoretical analysis of scientific psychological and educational literature the extent of the problem's development in educational theory and practice has been revealed. The essence, peculiarities and structure of such notions as "competence", "intercultural competence", "communicative competence", "intercultural communicative competence in foreign students" have been analyzed. The peculiarities of foreign students training in higher medical educational institutions of Ukraine have been discovered. The criteria and indicators have been defined and the level of intercultural communicative competence formation in foreign medical students has been characterized. Pedagogical conditions of formation of effective intercultural communicative competence in foreign students in higher medical educational institutions of Ukraine have been grounded.
