Essay

Aiming on experimental evaluation of stressogenic influence of oral mucosa inflammation and grounding ways of its correction using stress-protective medications experimental studies were performed on 180 inbred male rats weighing 155-220 g aged 3 months. Animals were divided into 6 groups in 30 series: study of optimal model of inflammation, determination of chronic stress, in acute and chronic experiments - the intact control, inflammation modeling, stress modeling, correction of combined pathology with piracetam, thiotriazoline, tiocetam. By the majority of restored parameters tiocetam possess the most strong action on stressful performance profile mucous membrane inflammation adjusting the functional state of mucous membrane to a greater extent than structural. Higher activity of tiocetam was registered also in relation to general regulation systems in rats (neurohormonal, metabolic, somatic). Comparison of the effects of the components suggests that the anti-stress effect of tiocetam reflects a possible potentiation of central vascular-metabolic activity of piracetam and antioxidant properties of thiotriazolin. Quantitative prevailing of nootropic component (4:1) in tiocetam's composition approves domination of its prophylactic action comparing with treatment revealed in the research. The data may be pathogenetic substantiation of the recommendation for practical application of the correction of inflammatory disease as mucous membrane stressful situation that is exposed to effects of stressprotectors of neurometabolic action.
