Shevchuk I. Formation of Higher Educational Institutions Students' Leisure Culture

The thesis presents a theoretical generalization of the problem of students' leisure culture formation and a new approach to solving actual scientific task has been proposed. The task is to ground pedagogical conditions of optimization the process of higher educational institutions students' leisure culture formation. State of the studied question in educational theory and practice has been revealed on the basis of philosophical, sociological and pedagogical sources. Nature and functions of leisure and recreational activities have been actualized. Peculiarities of higher educational institutions students' leisure activity have been cleared up. The essence of such notions as "leisure", "leisure activities", "culture", and "leisure culture activities" has been specified. The criteria (value-motivational, cognitive procedure, reflexive) and parameters and levels (low, medium, sufficient, high) of formation of higher educational institutions students' leisure culture have been defined. The effectiveness of pedagogical conditions of formation of higher educational institutions students' leisure culture has been theoretically substantiated and verified.
