Essay

The object of the research: reforming of system of education in USSR in 1920th. The dissertation purpose: to inves-tigate complexly the aspects and components of formation and development of the Ukrainian Soviet system of teacher education in USSR in 1920 th, to establish its features and tendencies. The methods: comparative-historical, analytical, statistical, problem-chronological, system, generalizing. Scientific novelty: in the dissertation the process of develop-ment of the concept of teacher education, the network deployment and structure of educational establishments in Ukraine in 1920s are thoroughly studied on the bases of analysis of a wide range of sources and literature; the control system, its structure and stages of development are considered. Its impact on the process of reforming of education is analyzed; the increasing dynamics and certain preferences funding of teacher education in the relation to other rele-vant verticals, education priority and funding are determined; the role of alternative sources of funds is defined; the educational-methodical and scientific-pedagogical material base of educational institutions is analyzed; the contradic-tory trends in the composition and formation of the teaching stuff corporation are defined; the process of training through postgraduate teaching staff and auxiliary branches – the scientific group, senior research seminar type speci-fied causes of poor quality of the graduate school is studied; systems, principles and criteria of recruitment of collec-tives of students of pedagogical educational institutions and the means of regulation of social composition of students are analyzed; the system of student government types and directions of their activity are studied; the role of different types of student organizations in the process of reforming of educational branch is defined. Practical value of research: the materials of research can be used in pedagogical higher educational institutions at study of a history of education as making part of a history of Ukraine, in generalizing works on a history of education of Ukraine.
