Drozdov J. Psychological features of professional self-determination of future experts in trade business

The paper defines the content, structural components, functional mechanisms, features of professional self-determination of future experts of trade business. The psychodiagnostic tools of research are proved, the psychological program of development of professional self-determination of the personality in process of a vocational education of students is approved. Professional self-determination is considered to be integrated formation of the personality which appears in the process of a professional development by its structural components - motivational, professional orientation, individual psychological, emotional and strong-willed. Components of self-determination develop due to functional mechanisms and cause internal individually significant and direct motives, the general abilities and readiness for business activity; professionally significant typological factors, belongingness to enterprising type of the personality with the expressed subjective control, strong-willed self-control and resistance to stress factors. By results of correlation and comparative analyses of research of professional self-determination components we defined motives of professional choice and motives of business, the general abilities and readiness for trade business activity; interrelation of personality type or separate factors with spheres of professional activity, and also levels of self-control and strong-willed self-regulation of the personality.
