But N. Research of antihypoxic effects of immunomodulator «Roncoleukin»

This thesis is devoted to the experimental validation for advisability of administration of immunomodulator «Roncoleukin» (recombinant interleukin-2) as an antihypoxic drug for pharmacorrection of structural and functional cerebral abnormalities against the background of experimental diabetic encephalopathy and acute disorder of cerebral circulation. It was established that administration of Roncoleukin led to renewal of mitochondria capacity. In its turn it stabilizes the balance of high energy phosphates in the cerebrum cells of rats suffering from diabetes mellitus and acute disorder of cerebral circulation. It normalizes carbohydrate metabolism and prevents the development of lactacidemia. It normalizes the correlation of SH - SS exchange system indications and activity of antioxidant system biocatalysts in the rat cerebrum tissue. The protein oxidative modification processes activity is lowered and that prevents from structural and functional damages of cerebrum neurons.
