The thesis is devoted to the study of the pharmacological properties of new pessaries, tentatively called "Phytovagin" for the treatment of vaginitis of different etiologies. It was established expressed anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and reparative properties of pessaries "Phytovagin" and their components. The use of pessaries against the background of vaginitis, caused by mechanical, chemical irritants, and vaginitis, burdened by E.coli, confirmed the presence of expressed anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and reparative properties, proved their high efficiency and superiority relative to reference preparation - "suppository with sea buckthorn oil". The complex of toxicological studies allowed to establish that pessaries "Phytovagin" belonging to Class IV of toxicity, and do not show locally irritating effects and toxic effects on the functional state of the ovaries.
