Litynska N. Conceptual sphere "Modern Italy" in the National Linguoculture.

The thesis is devoted to the complex investigation into the means of the verbal representation of the conceptual sphere "Modern Italy" in the national linguoculture. The conceptual sphere "Modern Italy" is analyzed as a structured mental formation, which consists of basic concepts ITALIA, BEL PAESE, FAMIGLIA, MAFIA, CRISI, IMMIGRAZIONE. The national specificity of these concepts is turned out by the extraction of their main structural cognitive features. Different approaches to the interpretation of concepts and conceptual spheres in the modern linguistics are systematized, the main methods of the conceptual analysis are outlined, the extralinguistic factors that influenced the conceptual sphere "Modern Italy" are singled out and the choice of its main components is grounded. The dominant values that formed a world view of the members of the Italian nation are analyzed. The data of the associative experiment with the speakers of Italian reveal the predomination of the value component in the associative fields of the investigated concepts. This fact confirms the hypothesis about relevance of the above-mentioned concepts in the Italian conceptual sphere. The members of the related community are characterized by a perceptive image-bearing type of the world view, which consists in the aesthetic perception and the positive evaluation of the national cultural and artistic heritage.
