Essay

The thesis is dedicated to the problem of training tolerance in older teenagers in the educational process of secondary schools. Based on the domestic and foreign scientific literature, a retrospective analysis of the problem is carried out; and its status in the pedagogical theory and practice is clarified. The author has summarized the theoretical foundations of tolerance education, specified the definition of "tolerance", "training tolerance in older teenagers in the educational process of secondary schools". The criteria, indicators of tolerance of older teenagers and the levels of its formation are determined. A structural-functional model of tolerance education in older teenagers of secondary schools has been developed. Pedagogical conditions for training tolerance in older teenagers in the educational process of secondary schools are defined and substantiated; their effectiveness being experimentally tested.
