The author has analyzed the state of knowledge about the problem; has revealed the essence and the sense of forming self-esteem in older teenagers at a boarding school; has defined criteria, indicators of self-esteem formation in older teenagers and the levels of their manifestation; has determined and substantiated pedagogical conditions of self-esteem formation in older teenagers at a boarding school and verified their efficiency experimentally.
