Essay

Dissertation is devoted to the study of the causes and pathogenesis of hepatic lipidosis in domestic cats, the development on this basis of the complex methods of diagnosis, including early and effective prevention and treatment schemes using causal and pathogenetic therapy facilities. Diagnostics of hepatc lipidosis in domestic cats is based on a study of clinical signs of disease, with subsequent ultrasonographic examination of the liver, determination of the status of protein, bilirubin and lipid metabolism as well as morphological studies of the liver parenchyma. Found that by the pathology increases the content of ?-lipoproteins, glycerol and cholesterols. At the same time the function of lipid transporters in the organism is disturbed due to the absolute increase in all lipoprotein fractions with a relative decrease in HDL density. By hepatic lipidosis is undergoing profound of liver injury due to degenerative changes in the parenchyma of the body, leading to disruption of enzyme function and cholestasis. Established the efficiency of treatment regimens, including diet and pharmacotherapy (Tioprotektyn, Hepavi-Kel and Hepatovet for cats) by liver lipidosis. Experimentally confirmed the importance of balanced diet as a major prevention for hepatic lipidosis. Application the aforementioned diagnostic indicators allows to control the efficiency of the treatment and preventive measures.
