Sheketa Y. The mechanism of prevention of long-term unemployment: imperatives formation and directions of development (for example the Carpathian region of Ukraine).

The theoretical generalizations are made and important scientific and practical tasks are resolved regarding the formation of mechanism on identifying of peculiarities of assessment and socio-economic consequences to prevent long-term unemployment in the Carpathian region of Ukraine. The complex research of theoretical and methodological foundations of assessment of long-term unemployment, analysis of the causes of its origin and socio-economic consequences, their impact on human development was conducted. The evaluation of long-term unemployment in the context of socio-economic groups, gender, location, age and education as well as the analysis of causes and socio-economic consequences of this negative phenomenon was done in this scientific work. The structural model of organizational and economic mechanism for prevention of long-term unemployment in Ukraine and oblasts of the Carpathian region was developed. The model is a coherent set of objectives, functions, instruments, principles and methods of influence that enabled us to develop a system of measures to prevent the growth of long-term unemployment. We also propose the implementation of flexsecurity concept as a strategy for prevention of long-term unemployment, that was improved by flexible forms of labor resources with non-standard terms of the organization of working time.
