Essay

Object: source material and selection on adaptability and content of biochemical composition of celery family vegetables types. Objective: to identify productive adaptive sources for the selection with the high content of biochemical substances and to modify the methods of selection and evaluation of quality of fresh, processed products and seeds. Novelty: breeding value of the source material is established by determining formation features of morphological, biochemical and productive features and sources (55 samples) for the selection of kinds of celery family vegetables are allocated. Improved methods for determining pectin, crude protein (Nh6,25), dry matter, sugars, vitamin C, folic acid, ?-carotene, starches in the fresh, processed products and seed fiber by increasing the reliability of data, accelerating and reducing the cost of analysis. Improved the methods of accelerated (2 times) creating source material with high biochemical composition and performance, found high correlations between biochemical composition, morphological, productive characteristics of leaves, roots and seeds (r = 0,67-0,97). A new lines with a set of productive and biochemical characteristics: fleshy carrot - Yasya, Vriya A, Mriya B, fragrant dill- Molodigniy, curly parsley – Holodok are created, that provide economic benefit 1,4-8,4 thousand UAH. / ha.
