Matter: the process of social and pedagogical support to train of senior adolescents for independent living in the orphanage of family type; Aim: to prove, scientifically develop and implement in practice the forms and methods of social and pedagogical support to train of senior adolescents for independent living in the orphanage of family type; Methods: analysis, synthesis, systematization, classification, comparison, testing, expert survey, socio-pedagogical experiment, methods of mathematical statistics; Novelty: forms and methods of socio-pedagogical support of senior teens, which allowed to achieve the positive dynamics of the exponents of their readiness for independent living by cooperation of professionals from social support and foster parents, is developed, scientifically grounded and implemented in conditions of the orphanage of family type; scientific and methodological support for cooperation of professionals and foster parents to effectively preparation senior adolescents to independent life in family-type orphanage, is improved; categorical and criterion sets of social and pedagogical theory are developed - the essence of conceptual designs "training senior adolescents for independent living in the orphanage of family type", "socio-pedagogical support in the orphanage of family type" and other definitions that are components of research; criteria and indicators for the diagnosis of the senior adolescents' readiness for independent living and monitor the effectiveness of forms and methods of socio-pedagogical support in the orphanage of family type, are determined; results can be used by specialists of social services for family, children and youth, foster parents and other stakeholders in the educational process of training the orphans for independent living, as well as in higher educational institutions of different levels of accreditation for training specialists with specialty "Social pedagogy" and "Social work"; field: social pedagogy
