Essay

The object is the transformation processes in lexical and grammatical semantics of language units of Russian-language mass-media discourse in Ukraine; the aim is to define linguistic principles of origin and specific functioning of linguistic transformations in modern mass-media discourse and to feature of their perception by potential addressees; methods that are used: induction, deduction, analysis, synthesis, descriptive, contextually interpretation, supervision, linguistic modeling, discourse-analysis, transformation analysis, linguistic experiment, quantitative analysis; novelty - it is the first time research on the actual material phenomenon of transformation as the general linguistic phenomenon, offered basic models of linguistic transformations analyzed examples of the transformation of the structural-semantic and functional-pragmatic aspects identified characteristics transform as a new method for implementing pragmatic attitudes of the author, determined the peculiarities of perception of language transforms their potential recipients; the complex structural-semantic analysis of transformations of modern media discourse was conducted, causes of their origins were defined, a chart and formula of vocal transformation process is offered, and also on the basis of the analyzed lexical and grammatical transformations the basic models of transform are selected in mass-media discourse, classification of lexical and grammatical transformations is developed in modern mediatexts on the basis of described transforms. By experimental methods efficiency of functioning and feature of perception of lexical and grammatical transformations are set by the potential addressees of modern mass-media discourse; results - practical material, basic states and corollaries of the thesis can be used in lexicographical practice and in educational process in teaching stylistics, lexicology on a philological faculty and department of journalism; field - linguistics
