Smochko V. Social and economic mechanisms of improving the quality of life in the region

The object of study: the process of improving the quality of life. Objective: scientific substantiation of theoretical positions and developing of practical recommendations for formation and implementation of socio-economic mechanisms for improving the quality of life of the region population. Methods: analysis, synthesis, comparison, generalization, deduction, structural-functional, cognitive modeling. The novelty: for the first time due to complex research problems of social economy, human potemtial, based on regional-competitive approach grounded economic model of state economic policy for promoting of competitive development of regions by qualitative factors and proposed a new socio-economic mechanism of improving the quality of life of regions population, taking into account the factors of national, regional and organizational levels for improving the quality of life, improved theoretical concept of quality of life in the region, scientific understanding of the essence of national and regional competitiveness and their interdependence with quality of life, methodical approaches for identifying of ways of improving the quality of life of the region, criteria and classification of factors of competitiveness in the light of task of problem ensuring the quality of life of regions population, scientific understanding of the ways of raising the quality of life of the region population, the concept of human potential given the task of raising the quality of life of the region population. Scope of application: in the activities of the Main Department of European Integration, Foreign Relations and Tourism of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration in drafting regulations on issues related to improving the quality of population life, of the Main Department of the Economy of Transcarpathian Region State Administration in developing of program of socio-economic development of Transcarpathian region in 2013, in the educationalal process of Mukachevo State University in preparing and teaching of lectures cources on subjects "Microeconomics", "Business Economics", "International Economics", "Economic theory".
