Research object - the Soviet totalitarian culture of the day. Subject of investigation - the archetypal-mythological ideological artistic aesthetic consciousness of Soviet culture. Purpose - to identify the ideological and aesthetic characteristics and archetypal-mythological structure of the Soviet totalitarian culture of the day. The study used the following methods: phenomenological, which used at the initial stage of the study and description of the research; hermeneutic required in carrying out the philosophical and aesthetic interpretations phenomena of totalitarian art and artifacts; Historical significance of genetic the method stems from the fact that the subject of the research rooted in history of world culture; a systematic method of analyzing cultural and artistic phenomena, which is due to the need for a multifaceted and holistic yet the nature of the subject matter of the study; comparative method is used for matching aesthetic manifestations of totalitarian culture phenomena on experience German and Soviet states corresponding period.
