The state of the development of a problem of the creative potential formation of the future choreography teacher by means of folk dance has been analyzed in the thesis. It was determined that the basis of this process is the form of abilities presentation and the creative activity of students, which is expressed in choreography. The essence and structure of the creative potential of the future choreography teacher have been revealed. The content of the key concepts of the study has been specified. The creative potential of future choreography teachers has been defined as a set of inherent from birth genetic and physiological characteristics, internal creative energy, providing a positive impact on the quality of the result in choreography. Formation of creative potential of future choreography teachers has been interpreted as a dynamic focused process of quantitative and qualitative changes in the personal characteristics of the student, and the growth of the creative forces of future specialist is carried out under its influence. The structure of the creative potential of future choreography teachers was represented by the following components: individual and creative - a set of student-choreographer creative abilities (creative thinking, imagination and creative fantasy); active and creative - creative activity of student-choreographer in choreography. Active and creative component has the following components and parameters: motivational and active (motives, needs, goals); cognitive and active (knowledge and skills); creative and active (executive, staging and teaching experience). It was found that folk dance as an art form of national culture contains a huge educational potential, and its implementation may be achieved through the depths of its spiritual heritage. The educational potential of folk choreographic art is a special artistic and communicative educational system and an effective means of enriching creative experience of future choreography teachers. A profound understanding of dance elements of folk dances, obtaining techniques and methods of its implementation, the development of acting skills, which forms harmoniously developed, spiritually enriched person with a strong creative potential are the peculiarities of folk dance. It was proved that the wide scope of higher educational institution opportunities is able to create a solid basis for the formation of the creative potential of the future choreography teacher under the influence of harmonious educational environment at folk dance classes. The criteria (cognitive and creative, motivational and value, and creative and active) indicators and levels of formation (low, medium, high) of the creative potential of the future choreography teacher by means of folk dance have been defined. Theoretically grounded and experimentally tested the pedagogical conditions of formation of the creative potential of future choreography teachers at folk dance classes (deliberate positive motivation of students to faith in the creative force, the need for constant development of their own creative potential, ensuring integrated development of individual creative and active-creative abilities of students in the classroom work; improvement of the content, forms and methods of studying folk dance in extracurricular artistic and choreographic activities). Training and methodological support to the process of formation of the creative potential of the future choreography teacher by means of folk dance has been developed. Based on analysis of the study results it was established that choreographic activities, such as studying the theory and techniques of folk dance, plays an important role in the formation of creative potential of future choreography teachers, displaying a natural and harmonious way of his development, significant needs and acting as an independent factor of targeted process. It was proved that after the molding of formational experiment the positive changes were not caused by random circumstances, and were the results of a comprehensive work on the pedagogical conditions realization in the educational process of higher educational institution.
