Essay

The problem of development of creative thinking of the pupils in educational process of primary school was theoretically substantiated in the thesis. Retrospective analysis of the issue of development and establishment of creative thinking was done; its current state in pedagogical education was found. Essentially-functional analysis of basic definitions of the mentioned phenomenon: "thinking", "creativity", "creative activity", "creative process" was realized. The content of the "creative thinking" concept within the conceptual-and-terminological paradigm was clarified and the essence of the "development of creative thinking of the pupils in educational process of primary school" concept was determined. It was found that primary school age is sensitive for effective development of the studied phenomenon, and therefore it was emphasized that the peculiarities of creative thinking development of primary school pupils need to be considered of age and personal development of the children as well as the features of educational process organization in primary school. Psychological-and-pedagogical conditions of development of creative thinking of the pupils in educational process of primary school: formation of motivation in the primary school teachers to develop creative thinking of the pupils; planned and systematic creation of problem situations in class; content improvement of extracurricular activities aimed to develop creative thinking of younger pupils were defined and experimentally verified on the basis of theoretical aspects of the research issue. The mentioned conditions being in close interconnections and aimed at the gradual development of the studied phenomenon in accordance with the defined levels of its development appeared as organizing ways of the process of creative thinking of primary school pupils and helped to ensure reliable relationship between the objectives of the research and its results. The model of creative thinking development of pupils in the educational process of primary school was developed and tested, whose effectiveness is provided by psychological and pedagogical conditions. The mentioned model is an entire system with the following blocks and components: methodological and target (goal, subjects of activity, approaches, and principles), content and organizational (stages, content, forms, methods, techniques of creative thinking development of primary school pupils), evaluative and effective (criteria, levels, result). The identified components are interdependent and mutually reinforcing each other, that ensured increase of levels of creative thinking of pupils in the educational process of primary school. The criteria and related indicators of development of creative thinking of primary pupils were defined: motivational and value (motivation of educational activity; ability to determine purpose; adequate self-appraisal); intellectual and action (skills in operations and methods of intellectual activity, cognitive activity, the ability to carry out theoretical analysis and internal plan of actions; developed nonverbal imagination); communicative and creative (tendency to creative expression; the ability to verbal creativity, the ability to express thoughts; the ability to make aware choices and to prove them). Based on the marked criteria and indicators the author determined the levels of creative thinking of primary pupils: reproductively passive, reproductively active, and self-creative. In the process of forming experiment the complex of traditional and interactive methods and techniques was chosen and implemented in the educational process of primary school that ensured the effective development of creative thinking of pupils. The results of forming experiment confirmed the effectiveness of psycho-pedagogical conditions and the proposed model of appointed phenomenon.
